CONVENIENT, "SAFE" AND DEADLY

Foreword By Dr. Gunnar Heuser

Patients with a history of chemical injury and chemical sensitivity face tremendous challenges. These come from physicians, psychiatrists and psychologists, and even family members and significant others.

Chemical injury and chemical sensitivity can be objectively documented. However, physicians will not usually go beyond simple and generally available tests which are then usually within normal limits. This is why these patients are typically labeled as having a psychiatric, somatoform or other psychogenic disorder.

Many patients will become totally disabled and withdraw from society. Some patients rise to the challenge and become advocates and interpreters of their disorders. Such a patient is Flora Preston.

In clear language Ms. Preston explains chemical injury and chemical sensitivity and related disorders in patients who become dysfunctional and disabled.

This book deserves to be read by the chemically injured and by patients who react to chemicals in even small amounts. This is why I will recommend this book to my patients.
